Bottle with Rope
This white porcelain bottle is decorated with an iron-brown underglaze design that resembles a rope tied round the neck. Unlike other white porcelain vessels ornamented with pictorial or patternized motifs, this one is characterized by a familiar yet unique design. The inner base features an inscription in Hangeul, indicating that the bottle was produced some time after the invention of the script.
