３階の半分ほどは仏像彫刻と陶磁器のコレクションが占めています。
あまりにもお宝がたくさんあって、目がまわりそうです。こういうときは、勝手ながら「目に飛び込んできたものだけに限って見る」作戦。

This vessel with its lyrical and elegant atmosphere is characterized by a relaxed spatial arrangement and inlaid designs executed in a delicate manner as if painted with a brush. Inlaid celadon such as this example was mainly produced in Yucheon-ri in Yuan, Jeollabuk-do Province.

時代とともに、製陶技術が発達し、李朝朝鮮時代に至って最高峰の白磁が製造されるようになった。
展示されている白磁は数も多く、ヴァラエティに富んでいます。

躍動する鹿

長寿を願うおめでたい文字の記されたお椀や入れ子の茶碗
「壽」は母の名前に入っている字なので、とりわけ目につきます。こんなお茶碗でご飯を食べたら、とても楽しそう。ばっちり長生きですね。

海を泳ぐ魚や蟹、海老も生き生きして元気そうです。
まん丸の目がおどけた顔に見える龍は、王家の儀式の際に花を飾ったものだそうです。技術の粋を尽くした大型の壺。見事という他ありません。

This is a white porcelain bottle decorated with an underwater landscape in cobalt-blue underglaze. The fish, crabs, and shrimp signify fertility and prosperity. These motifs and the shape of the bottle both reflect the influence of Chinese ceramics.

（博物館の解説）　The import of cobalt pigment became possible again from the latter half of the 17th century, and ceremonial white porcelain jars with dragon designs symbolizing the dignity of the court resumed production. This example boasting a large, robust form extending more than 50 centimeters in height is decorated with a dragon striking a dynamic posture. It is presumed to have been used for holding flowers during royal rituals.
１７世紀後半になると碧の顔料の輸入が可能になり、宮廷の威信を象徴する龍のデザインの白磁瓶が製造されるようになった。50cm以上の高さのあるこの壺は躍動的な龍の姿で装飾されており、王室の儀式の際に花を飾ったものであると思われる。
