Sat 13 December. David and Siobhan kindly proposed to go together and get the Christmas tree from Enniskerry, the same way we did last year. (For last year’s story, click here.) This is their family tradition to go this way and David uses his father’s electric saw to cut the tree they picked. We were delighted to meet them and have a quick tea in a café in the village before setting off to this ‘tree farm’ yard. Very nice this time Bernie could come together with me !
Their beautiful daughters were there too, to enjoy the afternoon. They even carried our tree back from the field to the car!!

Cette année aussi, nous avons été chercher nos arbres de Noël à la ferme-pépinière derrière le village de Enniskerry.
C’est nos anciens voisins David et Siobhan qui nous ont proposé d’y aller ensemble, fidèles à la ‘tradition’.
En effet c’est une véritable tradition pour eux d’aller choisir un sapin chaque année en famille et pour David de couper l’arbre choisi à l’aide de la scie électrique de son père, dont il se sert une seule fois tous les ans à cette occasion!!
Nous voilà donc tous ensemble, cette année leurs deux filles étaient présentes et Bernie aussi, qui avait été trop malade pour y aller l’an dernier. (Pour l’histoire de l’an dernier, cliquez ici!) Alors c’était d’autant plus sympa de parcourir ce vaste ‘champs de sapins’ et de ramener un très bel arbre, tout vert, tout frais, qu’on a installé au milieu de la pièce et qu’on a décoré ensemble le lendemain.
Ça fait tout de suite une super ambiance de Noël avec le sapin décoré et les bougies et tout!! Bonheur total!!

「今年も一緒にもみの木を選びに行きましょう」
前の家のお隣に住んでいたデビッドさんとシボーンさん夫婦から連絡をもらって、12月13日土曜日の午後、エニスケリーの村のカフェで待ち合わせをしました。去年はトラックに乗せてもらってsachanだけ行って、バーニーちゃんは留守番だったけど、素晴らしい大きな木を選んでデビッドさんのご自慢の電気鋸で切ってもらったのでした(去年の話はこちらをクリック）。今年は二人のお嬢さんたちも一緒。バーニーちゃんも楽しみに一緒に行くことができて、よかったね〜！
畑は見渡す限り、素敵な緑のもみの木が所狭しと並んでいます。
今年は天井が去年より低いから、背の高い木は入らないけど、そのかわり下のほうに枝がいっぱいついてる、もこもこしたのを選びました。
翌日の日曜日、飾りつけをしたら、家があっという間にクリスマスシーズンの雰囲気！やっぱり毎年の欠かせない行事です。
これからお正月明けの1月の第1週まで、飾っておくことになってます。

私はてっきり いつまでも飾っていたらお嫁に行かれ亡くなっちゃう(*_*)と思って早々に片づけました

yuukoさん、ありがとさんね！！ バーニーちゃんがいっしょに行かれて、このごろは元気よく、いろんな人とのつきあいも平気になってきたし（前は体調悪すぎて、あんまり話もしたくないって感じだったので）とってもうれしいsachanです。
モミの木の畑はクリスマスツリー用だから、大きくなる前に ある程度は間から切って売られていくのがあるのではないかな。。。売れ残ったのは、また来年。
そうなの、日本は おひなさまでも、クリスマスの飾りでも、どんどん片付けて、次の準備をするけど・・・ こちらはお正月過ぎまでずーっとモミの木飾ったままなので、毎年この時期は 日本のお正月が恋しくてホームシックになっちゃうんだ。。。。
あのわんこちゃんは、ダイソンに似てるよねっ！！！
モミの木をやってるおじいさんの、飼い犬さんでした。
おじいさんにくっついて、あっちへ行ったり、こっちへ行ったり。
元気に走りまわっていたよ。
