Sat 7 Sept, chilly day and rain spitting in the morning…. brrrr
Went to our fish shop as usually, in Wicklow town, bought some stuff and came out… to that!!!
He (She?) was just in front, behind the boat… Kawaiiiiiii!!!!!!
How you call it in english? … and in japanese?
I have no idea!!!

‘This is a grey seal, Sachiko. You’ll see them in every harbour where there are fishing boats. There’s another species called the common seal. It looks much cuter and is a lot smaller. Ironically, it is not so common! There are places round the coast where they hang out, but they don’t like harbours!‘
Waohhh… then perhaps I will have another chances to see some of them yet!

９月７日（土） 今日お魚やさんで買い物して出てきたら、店の前にこんなかわいいヒトがいました。
オットセイ？アシカ？なんというの？このヒト。アザラシ？？？

北海道 紋別の能戸さんによると、紋別にいるアゴヒゲアザラシに似ているそうです。
北海道 旭川のとーしさんも、熊本の紀子さんも、アザラシだよって。
ceriseさんが アシカ、アザラシ、オットセイの違いがちゃんと書いてあるリンクを教えてくれたし。こちら junjunたら 「オヤジ顔に見える」だって。かわいかったよ〜♡
ほんと、びっくりした！
みんな（っていうか、そこらにいた２、３人のひとたちだけど）にこにこ顔で、「かわいいね〜」と眺めていました。そしたら、魚屋さんのおじさんが出てきて、小さめの（でも３０cmぐらいあるかな）サバを何匹か ぽーんと投げてやりました。
「サバが好きなんだよ」ですって。
PS 2: アイルランド出身のBB村の友だちジョニーさんが「これはハイイロアザラシだよ」と教えてくれました。漁船とかがいるまわりに、よく出没するらしい。また会えるといいな〜♪
・・・ それで、そのあとスーパーの買い物もして、家に帰ってきたらね・・・

La température a chuté d’un seul coup, 8 degrés ce matin….brrrrr
Nous sommes descendus acheter des trucs chez notre poissonnier à Wicklow, comme d’habitude.
Et en sortant, ce qu’on a trouvé… c’était ce gars-là, qui était juste devant, dans le canal, derrière la barque.
Super mimi!!!

Les gens s’arrêtaient pour le (ou la?) regarder. Le possionnier est sorti avec quelques maquereaux, qu’il lui a donnés.

Sachan in Europe agrandie 
The seafood chowder was absolutely superb – it tasted really nice. And as for chasing cows out of the back garden – well, it isn’t something you should have to do when you have just got back from the shops! You don’t realise quite how big the things are until you get up close …

アゴヒゲアザラシでは、って書いてる人がいたね。おぢたまも顔つきはアゴヒゲアザラシに似てるけど、それにしてはヒゲが短いなあと思ってたの。
う～ん、でもアゴヒゲが短いアゴヒゲアザラシなのかもね。。。。。なにしろ、トゲトゲという棘のある虫の仲間にトゲがないのがいて、トゲナシトゲトゲって言うくらいだからね。。。。。関係ないか・。。・。・
アイルランド出身の友だち BB村のジョニーさんが教えてくれました。これって ハイイロアザラシですって。
それでね、ゼニガタアザラシも、よく似てるのだけど、もっと小型で、かわいい顔なんですって。でもアイルランドでは、ハイイロアザラシのほうがたくさん会う可能性があるよ、ということです。
アザラシに会えるなんて、想像もしてなかったから、うれしいsachan♡ また会えるといいなー♪
アザラシだとは思うのね。アシカとオットセイはそちらにいないはずだから。
だけど、北海道にいて、そちらにも分布しているゼニガタアザラシとは顔つきが違うみたい。
ゼニガタアザラシはもっと丸顔だし斑点みたいな模様がついているからね。
ところでこの裏庭の役割はなんなんだろう？

こんな至近距離で見たのは 初めてだったし、魚屋さんのおじさんがお魚を持って出てきたタイミングも絶妙だったので、すごーくうれしかったよ♡

裏庭は、単なる裏庭だよ？
家の表にも広い草っ原みたいのがあって 木がちょろちょろ。裏側も、こんな感じで、柵があって、いつも あの柵の向こう側に牛が毎日来てるというわけ。
きのうは 牛たちの持ち主のおじさんたちも来てた。
