Happy Birthday Bernie♡ Beautiful birthday present this morning, a big rainbow in the sky!! Bernie tells me about the ‘Leprechaun’, an irish fairy, who is hiding at the end of the raibow and if you happen to find and corner him, then you will get a ‘good luck’!! … but he is not a romantic kind of creature… perhaps he will hammer you! 

10月17日はバーニーちゃんの誕生日☆　夜のあいだ降った雨があがった朝、爽やかな青空に大きな虹のプレゼント。ふたりそろって思いがけない眺めにビックリ、大喜びでした。バーニーが言うには、アイルランドの言い伝えでは、「虹のふも とに行くと金の壷が埋まっていて、アイルランドの妖精レプリコンに会える」のだそうです。レプリコンって、どんな妖精？・・・　と調べてみたら、小人のような靴屋さん。もじゃもじゃヒゲで油断のならないヒトであるようです。かなり酒飲みで、ぴかぴか光る目をして、そうカンタンには金の壷を渡してくれないみたい。 それでも、朝いちに幸先がいいね！

Un jour de travail pour Bernie. Moi je me suis promenée un peu en ville, découvert des boutiques sympas… Je peux discuter avec des gens sans difficultés en anglais et c’est drôlement agréable.
Déjeuner ensemble au café (fish and chips) et ensuite il est reparti travailler. 

この日は バー ニーは仕事。昼はダブリンでお気に入りになったカフェで待ち合わせして、フィッシュ＆チップス。sachanは街歩き満喫でショッピングしてしまいまし た。なんだかこういうのは久しぶりだ・・・どっちが誕生日なんだかわかりません。英語が通じるので店でふつうに話ができるのが、妙に嬉しいです♪　

日本から、こんなすごいカードが届きました。あーちゃんの作品。Bernie&Sachanのそっくりサンのイラストと「ぞうさん」つきです。すごくうれしいです。ありがとう！！
