Just came back to Tokyo after a small trip to Sendai area 260 km by car to the north.
Went to see our former professor in her place – she is over 80 years old but remembers every kids and we were really happy to see each other, after so many years.
And then we went to a very typical ‘Onsen’ – japanese style spa, with Hot Spring baths.
A part from these hot baths – sooooo very relaxing!- we enjoyed full Japanese meals as well.
For example… look at the photo!! This is only our breakfast I show you here, with plenty different stuff… Bernie would probably prefer his strong coffee but we were absolutely delighted to get these Tofu (heated in the small pot on the left), Milo-Soup with vegetables (on the right side) etc. Didn’t get ‘yellow fish with black eyes’ but a small peace of Salmon fish… really big Japanese meal, first thing in the morning and we were completely full.
Today is 23rd of March! Exactly one year ago, I was giving this big ‘last conference’ at the university to close down my ‘shop’… Already one year it went all so quick and I am so very happy to be sitting here looking back. That was a really nice one-year, full of new things to discover…

Me voici de retour à Tokyo, après un petit voyage au nord à Sendai avec junjun, A-chan et Ryo-chan. Comme vous pouvez le constater, nous avons été faire un petit séjour dans une station thermale ‘Onsen’ et qu’est-ce qu’on a bien mangé!!! … Et bien sûr ces bains!!! (…mais je ne peux pas prendre de photos dans les bains. Dommage!)
Nous avons aussi fait un petit détour pour aller voir notre ancienne professeur qui habite dans le même coin. Une occasion très spéciale… Nous avons été toutes vraiment heureuses de nous retrouver après tant d’années.

Revenue à Tokyo, je regarde le calendrier et c’est le 23 mars aujourd’hui. Au fait, il y a exactement un an que j’avais fait ma ‘dernière conférence’ avant de quitter l’université. C’est incroyable, comme le temps passe vite! Et ce coup-ci, je passe ces quelques semaines à Tokyo en vacances, dans un autre rythme, à profiter du printemps qui arrive.
Je me dis que c’était une année bien remplie, avec beaucoup d’événements imprévus, beaucoup de voyages, découvertes, rencontres … c’était une année si intense. Je n’ai pas eu le temps de m’ennuyer. A suivre donc.

仙台までドライブ、昔おせわになった先生にお目にかかりました。お年をとられて病気もなさったということだけど、久しぶりの再会はほんとうにうれしく、時間のたつのを忘れてしまいました。
そのあと、近くの秋保温泉へ。温泉のたっぷりのお湯に、うっとり☆　そしてすごい日本食のごちそうにエキサイト！　もっと何回もお風呂に入りに行きたいと思ったけど、ご飯を食べたらダウンして爆睡状態のsachanでした。疲れがどんどん逃げて行く温泉。こればっかりは日本でないとね！
今朝はチェックアウトしたあと、近くの渓谷を散歩しました。おかゆに湯豆腐、その他いろいろ盛りだくさんな朝ご飯のあと、外の空気は気持ち良いです。
