14 – 17 Octobre. Eibert deVries notre très vieil ami est venu passer le week-end avec nous. Et il se trouve que c’était juste avant l’anniversaire de Bernie.
On a été tous les deux vraiment heureux de l’accuillir. Ça faisait très très longtemps.
Heureusement qu’on a pu lui montrer ces paysages magnifiques de notre coin avec un peu de soleil et de ciel bleu.

Eibert came and spent 3 days here in Ireland after so many years! His children grew up… Zoé chan who was a baby in Japan is now a beautiful young girl and we said  hello to Emile on skype. He was born in Belgium.
We all became (just a bit) older but still very good friends. Very nice of you, deVries, to have taken time to come around !  We were so very happy to see you.
The weather turned to be wonderful for our local tour, between Wicklow mountains and Brittas bay sea side.

10月14〜17日。バーニーちゃんが東京で働いていた頃の同僚　オランダ人のアイバートがわざわざ遊びに来てくれました。
あの頃からずいぶん色んなことがあって、バーニーはドイツで７年以上、それからsachanが日本からやってきて、オーストリアを経てアイルランド。
アイバートとフランソワーズも日本からベルギーとかスイスとかフランスはリヨンでの生活を経て、最近パリに落ち着いて、子どもたちもずいぶん大きく成長している。
いろいろな試練を乗り越えて今があること。気の置けない古い友だちと、思う存分、楽しそうに話をするバーニーちゃん。
嬉しさがあふれてて、傍にいるsachanも幸せな週末でした。
そして地元の素敵なスポットをまわって、ちょっとだけ歩いたりもして、魚屋さんのレストランでフィッシュ&チップスのランチ、家ご飯のディナー。
忙しい仕事をやりくりして、わざわざアイルランドへ来てくれたアイバートの行動力に感謝です。
７月にリヨンで会えるかな？と連絡したら、ちょうどその日がパリへの引越しでニアミスだったのを、挽回できた。また会えるといいな。
