10 April, Kilmaccuragh with my Japanese friends.

It was really calm Sunday morning… And by the time we came back to the tea room, lots of people started to arrive, as it turned to be dry and almost spring like weather!
Real treat to go around in this jungle… Each time these plants look different with new flowers. Amazing!

I prepared some rice balls and stuff in as a Bento for us – traditional japanese lunch, that we enjoyed sitting in the tea room.

Voilà donc c’était dimanche le 10 avril, avec Akiko san and Emiko san, mes deux copines japonaises ‘Kimono girls’. Une petite sortie au jardin botanique de Kilmaccuragh, qu’elles découvraient pour la première fois. La pluie de la veille s’est arrêtée et nous avons pu nous promener tranquillement dans ce jungle fleuri super calme.

En début d’après-midi, les autres visiteurs commençaient à arriver, tandis que nous nous sommes installées dans le café et on a mangé le super Bentô japonais que j’ai amené, avec des oeufs, saumon salé grillé, des Onigiri avec des Edamame… Vous imaginez que les filles étaient très contentes!

４月10日（日）
いよいよ「お花見遠足」の当日は、お弁当を車に積み込んで、ダブリンまでふたりの「着物ガールズ」を迎えに行きました。
エミリーさんは来られなくて残念。
前日までの雨がやんで、朝いちの静かな植物園をのんびり散歩しました。
前にバーニーと来たときに比べて、また一段と石楠花の花がたくさん咲きそろって見事です。
でもまだ固い蕾もいっぱいなので、これから５月いっぱいぐらいはまだ楽しみに来られるかな。
途中で「日曜日ごとに来ているよ」という年配のご夫婦に行き合っておしゃべりしたり、写真を撮ったりしながらまわって、カフェのところまで帰ってくるころには、訪問客がいっぱい押し寄せてきました。
カフェでお茶を頼んで、あとは　枝豆ご飯のおにぎり、塩鮭、卵焼きなんかが入ったお弁当をおもむろに取り出して、ぺちゃくちゃおしゃべりしました。
こういうことって、ほんとに楽しい！
日本式のお弁当は、ふたりとも久しぶりだったみたいで、とっても喜んでもらえました。

 

 

Well… so far, 9 lessons with Emiko san! I am almost able to dress myself like that!
De fin mars au 22 avril, j’ai pris 9 leçons avec Emiko san. Voilà donc je suis à peu près capable maintenant de m’habiller comme ça… Maintenant il faut répéter … （おまけ）３月の末から４月22日まで、恵美子さんに９回レッスンしていただいて、少し着られるようになりました。帯も見よう見まねで結べるようになりました。でも練習しないとね。
