31 december 2015. Spinc in Glendalough, as usual, on the new year’s eve.

This time, Tamami-san , my Japanese friend from Dublin joined the group and also family members and cousins were there, too. Very wet at the start, freezing cold and slushy at the top, but at the end we’ve even seen some bits of blue sky.
Beautiful walk and I wasn’t that tired!! Lovely way to say bye bye to the year 2015 and start the fresh new year…

le 31 décembre. La grande sortie annuelle dans la valée de Glendalough avec tout le groupe d’amis, y compris cousins, maris etc et bien sûr mes copines ‘fit biddies’. Cette fois-ci j’ai proposé à Tamami san, une de mes copines japonaises d’ici à venir marcher avec la bande et elle s’est très bien amusée.
Une matinée pluvieuse très humide au départ, mais à la fin on a même aperçu un bout de ciel bleu! J’étais même étonnée de constater que j’étais nettement moins fatiguée que les deux dernières années.

Avec toutes ces marches de fin d’année au calendrier, finalement on a la saison des fêtes de fin et début d’année bien active! Et puis cette année, j’ai pris l’initiative pour en faire un tout petit nouveau chapître…

もう年が明けて世の中は通常モードに戻ってるのに、まだ大晦日のニュースを書いてるブログ！！

12月31日　大晦日は恒例のグレンダロッホの「とんがり山スピンク」のトレッキングです。
おにぎりを作って、今年は大学同窓の珠実さんもいっしょに行きました。
歩きはじめは、雨降りで少しびちょびちょでしたが・・・　林の中の階段をえっちらおっちら登って上の尾根道に出ると、寒いけど比較的歩きやすい天候でした。ところによって風が吹きつけるところは、寒いっ！！　足元が凍っているところもあったので、滑らないように気をつけて！！　でも降りてくるころには、青空も出て快適でした。
今年も無事にこうして友だちとウオーキングで一年を締めくくることができました。
とても和やかで楽しい大晦日。夜はなんと・・・　バーニーが魚屋さんからマグロのおさしみを買ってきてくれたので、お刺身定食で年越し。お蕎麦を食べるのかと思ってたんだけどなー。。。。
