Tue 14 April. Last evening, this time in Burgenland, we went to Rust, this very romantic village where all the roof tops are occupied by beautiful stork birds. They came back from Africa as they do every year to find their nest and they will be having baby storks very soon which will grow into young birds, then they fly away in September. Amazing thing really and more to the point, that was in this village we’ve had our wedding done several years ago!!
Enjoyed nice evening and fab dinner with our friends Roswitha and Fritz. Lovely way to finish our holiday!

Mardi 14 avril au soir, nous sommes partis à Rust, ce petit village tellement célèbre pour les cigognes. Chaque fois que nous avons accueilli des visiteurs, c’était une excellente manière de leur faire découvrir ce site vraiment spécial, avec des cigognes qui reviennent chaque année.
Ce coup-ci on s’est un peu promenés avec Roswitha et Fritz, ensuite nous avons eu un dîner dans un restau super romantique de Michael. Un endroit épique – c’était aussi là que nous avions fait une super fête pour notre mariage, qui s’est enfin formalisé plusieurs mois après….

４月１４日（火）今回のブルゲンランド滞在の最後の日。昼間はハンガリー国境のイルミッツまで行きましたが、夕方はルストの村へ。ルストは湖沿いにアイゼンシュタット方面へ行ったところにある、コウノトリ（朱嘴鸛シュバシコウ）で有名な古い村です。
どうもコウノトリ（クチバシが黒い）とシュバシコウ（クチバシが赤い）は厳密に言うと違うものだそうですが、オーストリアには赤いクチバシのがいっぱいいます。春になるとアフリカからやってきて、夏のあいだ子育てをして、また秋に渡っていく、毎年のサイクルが繰り返されていて、特にルストは古い建物それぞれの屋根の上に大きな巣があって、仲良し夫婦たちがラブラブな姿を見せてくれるので、いつも遊びに来てくれた友だちと見に行っていたのでした。
４月はちょうど、カップルが巣に腰を落ち着ける季節。
夕方のルストの村を散歩して、美味しい夕飯をゆっくり食べて、ロスヴィータ＆フリッツと旧交をあたためました。
