Tue 7 April. Went to our favorite ‘Arboretum’ Kilmaccuragh Botanic Gardens.
Last year, we just discovered the place in May, at the very end of rhododendron flower season.
So this year, we started much earlier to appreciate this wonderful garden which is usually quite a calm place to walk around.
Hope to go back there and take more time, perhaps with some pic-nic???

Mardi le 7 avril. Juste avant de partir une semaine en Autriche, on a pris le temps d’aller nous promener dans ce magnifique jardin botanique, notre endroit favori de Wicklow Co.Dès qu’on arrive dans le domaine, le long du chemin qui mène de l’entrée vers le parking, il y a déjà de très grands arbres avec plein de fleurs!!
C’est tellement beau!
On avait découvert cet endroit fin mai, l’an dernier, alors que la floraison était presque finie.
Cette année, j’espère qu’on pourra y retourner plusieurs fois pour vraiment en profiter.

４月７日（火）　オーストリアに旅行に行く直前でちょっと慌ただしかったけど、「えいや」と時間をつくって、お庭の鑑賞に行きました。

去年は５月の終わり頃、初めて行ったのでした。（そのときのブログはこちら。）　まだバーニーちゃんが体調が悪くて、ずいぶんつらかった時期だったけど、色鮮やかな花の咲いている素晴らしい庭、大きな樹々に、とても感動したのでした。

今年もそろそろ花が咲いているころかなーと思っていたら、Wicklowのニュースとしてインターネットに　石楠花が開花しています、と出ていました。
去年とはうってかわって、あちこち元気に歩きまわれることが嬉しかったです。
お天気も良くて、気持ちの良い午後でした。
