Thu 15 Jan. Masanori took me to the north of Ibaraki area, where he was exposing his docoration work outside, as a part of local exhibition. He builds this kind of decoration a bit everywhere for outside concert, exhibition or in a cafe etc. and this is really the first time I’ve seen one of these in reality.
Really nice to be taken in his van (kind of old but very comfortable) and visit the area, chatting and just spending time together.
Cold wet weather but enjoyed the day.

Jeudi le 15 janvier.
Nous avons été visiter la chute d’eau à Fukuroda, dans le nord de Ibaraki. Masanori a monté un objet de bois dehors, comme il en fait un peu partout comme décorateur-artiste.
Il m’a prise dans sa bagnole – un mini bus super confortable- et c’est lui qui a conduit tout le temps. Moi je n’avais qu’à m’installer et regarder le paysage!  J’ai déjà vu des photos de ses oeuvres, mais c’est la première fois que j’ai pu aller en voir un en réel!
Pas mal du tout, son machin!
On s’est bien baladés tous les deux dans le coin et c’était chouette de passer toute la journée comme ça ensemble.

１月15日　日帰りで「弾丸 　袋田の滝ツアー」。
ma-chanが袋田駅に光る立体のデコレーションを作ったのを見せてくれるというので、いっしょに出かけてきました。楽しかった〜
滝の水はちょと一部が凍ってました。誰もいなくて静かで素敵でした。
袋田の街のいろいろなところに、デコレーションがいろいろありました。
ma-chanの作品は、駅のホームの向こう側にある空き地みたいなところに作った、光るオブジェです。流木を組み合わせて大きな、ゆるいピラミッド型に作ってあって、まわりにも竹の灯りが配置されています。灯りはゆるーくついたり消えたりします。
流れ落ちる大きな滝をイメージしたそうです。

こんな感じで屋外にいろいろなものを作っては解体撤収…をほうぼうでやってるみたいです。
sachanも初めて実物が見られました。
