What a evening!!! Pure pleasure, this memorable first Sunday evening spent in the local pub, totally filled of authentic, friendly, complex sound of Irish music. Absolutely amazing experience. Waaaoh… 🙂
That was a group of long time friends, enjoying together to play music. Some guys play several different instruments. There was two neighbors – Joe and Joe – and people just sit around, having nice chat and drinking, relaxing. Definitely going back regularly… Will be wonderful thing to do, certainly, on a cold winter dark Sunday evenings …

うわー。感動の日曜日。
夕方はじめて村のパブへ行きました。「日曜は夜７時ぐらいから、ずっとやってるから聴きにおいでよ」と隣の家のおっちゃん（右のほうにいる、パープルのシャツを着てるひと）に言われてたのだけど・・・　こんなすごいとは想像もしてなかった〜！　もう完全にノックアウトされてしまいました　　正真正銘の地元のアイルランド音楽。

みんな、長年好きでやってる友だちばかり。次々にレパートリーを繰り広げるありさまは、まるでコンサート。・・・でも、「コンサート」なんていう作ったものじゃなくて、もっと「自然発生的」な感じが、いかにも親密で、楽しくて、暖かくて、いろいろな違う音が次々に加わって、重なり合って、圧倒的でした。おっちゃんたちの楽しそうな顔。同じ楽器をずっと弾いてるひともいれば、いろんな楽器を取っ替え引っ替え演奏してるひともいます。独特な楽器の、深い音色。まわりに座ったり立ったりしている人たちも、心から楽しんで、のんびり時の流れと音楽に身をまかせている。

これから、ここの暮らしにまたひとつ、こんな楽しみが加わったのかと思ったら、すごく幸せな気分・・・　最後はおっちゃんたち、おばちゃんたちにご挨拶をして、たくさん握手してしまったsachanでした。

Nous sommes donc descendus hier soir au pub du village, à Roundwood, pour la première fois.
Notre voisin Joe (celui qui joue à l’accordéon) nous en avait parlé, mais on n’avait jamais essayé… et puis hier soir l’autre voisin Joe (l’autre Joe! ) est passé pour nous proposer de venir les rejoindre. Nos deux voisins seront là? … Il faut y aller!
On s’amène donc doucement après manger… le pub est archi plein, les gens sont là, debout, à boire de la bière et écouter de la musique. On a fini par s’asseoir au fond de la salle, tout de suite à côté des musiciens, qui sont bien plus nombreux que je n’avais imaginé. C’est apparemment un groupe de très anciens amis  qui s’amusent à jouer ensemble depuis toujours. Ils font ça chaque dimanche soir.
Une ambiance vraiment spéciale, la musique vous remplit, avec la bonne humeur en vague. Les sonorités de ces instruments sont incroyablement riches, complexes et douces. Les gars les manipulent d’un air si heureux et si relaxe… L’un commence un chant, les autres le suivent, ça fait des couches de sons et de mélodies. Ensuite un autre se met à jouer quelque chose d’autre… et ainsi de suite.

Oh vous pouvez imaginer que j’ai été tellement heureuse d’avoir trouvé encore un autre plaisir dans la vie d’ici. J’ai dit bonjour à tous les musiciens et leur ai serré la main en partant!!
