Reflexion of the Geflügelmeister Morris – about Christmas Turkey

Poultry in Motion!!


Our first Turky – ‘Theresa the Turk’ was 3.116 kg.

Cooking time : 20mn / 450g    6.9 x 20mn for Theresa, let’s do 7 x 20mn.
You are supposed to add 20 mn on top of this time, but Geflügelmeister Morris decided not to.

1. The bird should be buttered and nex year buttering will be better.
2. Theresa’s got 1 pealed oignon and 6 cloves of garlic inside and lots of streaky bacon outside.
3.’Cooking tent’ made of tin foil is necessary.
For 2001, tin foil tent on earlier.
4. Cut 10 mn cooking time off.

Next year bird will be… ‘Poly das Puten’.
